Delete pages from a PDF

Remove blank, duplicate or private pages and save the rest of the PDF, on your own device. No upload

How to delete PDF pages

  1. Choose or drop your PDF file. The page count appears below it.
  2. Type the pages to remove: single pages and ranges separated by commas, like 2, 5-7. 9- means page 9 to the end.
  3. Click Delete and save. The remaining pages download in their original order as name-edited.pdf.

No quality loss

The pages you keep are copied as they are: text, fonts, images and links are not re-rendered or compressed, so text stays sharp, selectable and searchable. Title, author and software details from the original file are not copied.

Private by design

People usually delete pages to take out something they don't want to share, like a bank page, an ID scan or a signature page, so uploading the whole file to a website defeats the purpose. This page reads and writes the PDF with JavaScript in your browser, and its security policy stops it from sending data to any server. There's no account, no watermark and no file limit.

Questions

Why won't my PDF open here?

Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs can't be edited. Open the file in a PDF reader with its password and save or print an unprotected copy first, if you're allowed to. The tool tries to repair a damaged file index automatically.

Is the deleted content really gone?

Yes. Only the pages you keep, and the fonts and images they use, are written to the new file. The original file on your device is not changed.

Can I reorder or extract pages instead?

To save only some pages as a new file, use Extract PDF Pages. To change the page order, use Reorder PDF Pages. To break the file into several PDFs, use Split PDF; to turn sideways pages, use Rotate PDF.

Are bookmarks and forms kept?

Page content, links and comments are kept. Bookmarks (the outline sidebar) are not carried over, and fillable form fields stay visible but may no longer be editable.
