How to merge PDF files
- Choose or drop your PDF files. You can add more at any time.
- Put them in order with the arrows. The top file comes first.
- Optionally type which pages to keep from each file, then click Create PDF.
Extract or reorder pages
Each file has a Pages box. Leave it empty to use every page, or type a list such as 1-3, 5 (pages 1, 2, 3 and 5), 4- (page 4 to the end) or 3-1 (pages 3, 2, 1 in reverse). To pull a few pages out of a single PDF, add just that one file and type the pages you want. To repeat a page, list it twice.
No quality loss
Many tools re-render every page, which can blur text and scanned images or make the file much bigger. This one copies the pages into the new PDF exactly as they are, with the same text, fonts, images and links. Text stays selectable and searchable. Title, author and software details from the original files are not copied into the new PDF.
Private by design
PDFs are often the most sensitive files people have, like bank statements, IDs, contracts and medical records. This page reads and writes the PDFs with JavaScript in your browser, and its security policy stops it from sending data to any server. There's no account, no watermark and no file limit.
Questions
Why won't my PDF open here?
Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs can't be merged. Open the file in a PDF reader with its password and save or print an unprotected copy first, if you're allowed to. Very badly damaged files may also fail. The tool tries to repair a broken file index automatically.
Is anything left out of the merged PDF?
Page content, links and comments are kept. Bookmarks (the outline sidebar) are not carried over, and fillable form fields stay visible but may no longer be editable.
Is there a size limit?
No fixed limit. Everything happens in your device's memory, so very large files (hundreds of MB) depend on how much memory your browser can use.
Can I turn images into a PDF?
Yes, with JPG to PDF. You can then merge that PDF with others here.
