How to reorder PDF pages
- Choose or drop your PDF file. Its pages appear as a list.
- Drag a page to its new place, or use the ↑ and ↓ buttons (they also work with the keyboard and on phones). Reverse order flips the whole file.
- Click Save reordered PDF. The new file downloads as
name-reordered.pdf.
Fix scans that came out backwards
Document feeders often scan the last page first. One click on Reverse order puts the pages back in reading order, and Original order undoes every change.
No quality loss
The pages are copied as they are: text, fonts, images and links are not re-rendered or compressed, so text stays sharp, selectable and searchable. Title, author and software details from the original file are not copied.
Private by design
Contracts, statements and scanned forms shouldn't have to go to a website just to change the page order. This page reads and writes the PDF with JavaScript in your browser, and its security policy stops it from sending data to any server. There's no account, no watermark and no file limit.
Questions
Why won't my PDF open here?
Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs can't be edited. Open the file in a PDF reader with its password and save or print an unprotected copy first, if you're allowed to. The tool tries to repair a damaged file index automatically.
Can I also remove or duplicate pages?
To leave pages out, use Delete PDF Pages. To pick pages in a typed order and repeat some, use Extract PDF Pages with something like 3, 1-2, 3.
Can I put pages from several PDFs in one order?
Yes, with Merge PDF: add the files, arrange them, and type the pages you want from each one. To turn sideways pages, use Rotate PDF.
Are bookmarks and forms kept?
Page content, links and comments are kept. Bookmarks (the outline sidebar) are not carried over, and fillable form fields stay visible but may no longer be editable.
