How to extract PDF pages
- Choose or drop your PDF file. The page count appears below it.
- Type the pages to keep: single pages and ranges separated by commas, like
2, 5-7.9-means page 9 to the end. - Click Extract and save. The new file downloads as
name-extract.pdf, with the pages in the order you typed.
Pick the order too
Pages come out in the order you type them, so 5, 1-3 puts page 5 first. Typing a page twice includes it twice, which is handy for a cover sheet or a copy to sign.
No quality loss
The pages are copied as they are: text, fonts, images and links are not re-rendered or compressed, so text stays sharp, selectable and searchable. Title, author and software details from the original file are not copied.
Private by design
Extracting a page is often about sharing only part of a document, like one payslip from a year's statements, so the whole file shouldn't have to go to a website first. This page reads and writes the PDF with JavaScript in your browser, and its security policy stops it from sending data to any server. There's no account, no watermark and no file limit.
Questions
Why won't my PDF open here?
Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs can't be edited. Open the file in a PDF reader with its password and save or print an unprotected copy first, if you're allowed to. The tool tries to repair a damaged file index automatically.
Can I get each page as its own file?
Use Split PDF: it saves every page, or every group of pages, as a separate PDF in one ZIP. To remove a few pages and keep the rest, use Delete PDF Pages.
Can I combine pages from several PDFs?
Yes, with Merge PDF: add the files and type the pages you want from each one.
Are bookmarks and forms kept?
Page content, links and comments are kept. Bookmarks (the outline sidebar) are not carried over, and fillable form fields stay visible but may no longer be editable.
