Rotate PDF pages

Turn sideways or upside-down pages the right way and save the PDF, on your own device. No upload

How to rotate a PDF

  1. Choose or drop your PDF file.
  2. Pick the direction and which pages to turn: all, odd, even, or a list like 1-3, 7.
  3. Click Rotate and save. The rotated PDF downloads as name-rotated.pdf.

Fix double-sided scans

Scanners often flip every other page of a double-sided document upside down. Choose 180° and Even pages to fix them all in one go. Mixed documents with a few landscape tables work the same way: list just those pages.

No quality loss

Rotating only changes the page's orientation setting. Text, fonts, images and links are copied as they are, so nothing is re-rendered or compressed and text stays sharp, selectable and searchable. Rotating a page that is already turned adds to its current angle. Title, author and software details from the original file are not copied.

Private by design

Scanned contracts, receipts, IDs and medical forms are the PDFs that most often come out sideways, and the ones you least want to upload. This page reads and writes the PDF with JavaScript in your browser, and its security policy stops it from sending data to any server. There's no account, no watermark and no file limit.

Questions

Why won't my PDF open here?

Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs can't be rotated. Open the file in a PDF reader with its password and save or print an unprotected copy first, if you're allowed to. The tool tries to repair a damaged file index automatically.

Can I rotate an image instead?

Yes, use Crop & Rotate Image for JPG, PNG and WebP photos.

Can I also remove or reorder pages?

To remove pages, use Delete PDF Pages. To reorder, use Merge PDF with just this file and type the pages you want in the order you want, like 3, 1-2. To break the file into several PDFs, use Split PDF.

Are bookmarks and forms kept?

Page content, links and comments are kept. Bookmarks (the outline sidebar) are not carried over, and fillable form fields stay visible but may no longer be editable.
